Properties：It is a colorless, odorless and flammable transparent liquid. It is soluble in water and carbon tetrachloride, and can be miscible with ether, acetone, benzene, chloroform and vinyl acetate, etc. Melting point: -49℃, Boiling point: 240-243℃, Flash point: 152℃. It does not absorb moisture easily.

Uses：Propylene carbonate is an excellent polar solvent and surfactant, widely used in plastics, printing and dyeing, polymer synthesis, gas separation, electrochemistry and other fields. In the electronics industry, it can be used as an electrolyte solvent for lithium ion batteries and capacitors. In the polymer industry, it can be used as a solvent and plasticizer for adhesives, sealants and other polymers, as well as phenolic resin curing accelerators, spinning solvents, water-soluble dyes and dispersing agents for plastics. It can also be used as oil solvent, olefins and aromatics extraction agent, carbon dioxide absorbent, such as the removal of carbon dioxide in petroleum gas, petroleum cracking gas, oil field gas and synthetic ammonia raw gas.
